ABOUT ME
I trained to be a teacher at the oldest teachers Training College in theCommonwealth, Borough Road College. So my teaching experience began in 1978.
Since 1978 I have experience in some of the most famous names in UK Education, with 22 years of service at St Paul`s School, London and some teaching at Dulwich College, London two of the most academic UK schools.
My experience of class room teaching has varied from Head of History,Head of Religious Studies and World Faiths. In addition I have taught the UK Primary Curriculum of English, Mathematics, Science and Topic.
In 2017 I was the first ever foreigner to receive the Top Teaching Honour from the Minister of Education. This was for having the best chess school in Mongolia and for teachings Mongolians Mongolian History.
I have many years of experience of teaching students whose English language may be their second or even their third language. So I have met and taught Chinese, Mongolian, Korean, Japanese and students from far and wide.
ABOUT MY SESSION
Each lesson will be formatted with a clear introduction. Two or perhaps three themes and always a plenary or summary of what has been learnt. There will some homework set in preparation for the next lesson.
AREAS OF EXPERTISE
History can be offered to cover any syllabus, UK or otherwise, likewise for Humanities, Religious Studies and World Faiths. Students of Years 3 to 8 can be prepared for the UK Preparatory Common Entrance or Scholarship work, plus I can offer the UK Primary themes and topics of work.
PERSONAL SKILLS
I have been lucky enough to have been taught by and witnessed some great teachers. Subject Knowledge, enthusiasm, finding a common interest, encouragement and praise are all essential traits of a good teacher.
