ABOUT ME

An experienced and creative online teacher committed to good practice and innovation. Currently using a variety of platforms and applications e.g. Classin, Zoom and Skype to deliver tuition for 11 plus,13 plus Common Entrance exams and KS3 and KS4 English Literature and Language students globally (a large majority of Chinese students in preparation for entry into UK Public schools e.g. Westminster and St. Paul’s). At Ipswich Tuition Centre I tutored KS3 and KS4 students, English Language and Literature (GCSE- AQA, WJEC, Cambridge IGCSE and Edexcel) and at Saxmundham Free School, Suffolk taught English, Art and PSHE to KS3 and KS4. I was an English Language consultant for Suffolk Refugee Support, Ipswich where my role included teacher training, setting up homework clubs and English Language classes for teenage refugees and asylum seekers.

ABOUT MY SESSION

My lessons will revolve around topics areas which will have been discussed in a preliminary meeting. From this, I will focus on unseen practice and strategies, or discussion of themes in set text passages, as well as furthering my students essay style by looking at work of theirs, and brainstorming ways to develop it.
